Social Networking: Secrets of Marketing in a
Web 2.0 World
Presented by Angela Rutzick, A-Type Marketing & Design
and NEWBO 5-Star Member

What is Web 2.0, anyway? Essentially it encompasses the set of tools that allows people to build social and business connections, share information and collaborate on projects online. It includes blogs, wikis, social-networking sites (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and other online communities and virtual worlds.

How does Web 2.0 affect your business? Today, business are using these tools to help them create visibility, strengthen brand identity, drive traffic to their web sites, improve customer relations, and bring customers together online. This approach highlights a significant shift in the way companies and entrepreneurs are thinking about social networks.

As with any new medium, there will be questions as to which tool, if any, is good for your business. Before you answer that question, you need to know the pros, cons and the secrets of marketing in this virtual world. This presentation will give you an overview of Social Networking/Web 2.0, and will include tips about how to incorporate it into your brand and overall marketing strategy.

You will learn:

  • About the latest and greatest in Social Networking sites and technologies
  • How to determine if incorporating Web 2.0 into your marketing strategy is the right move for your business
  • How to use Web 2.0 to your best professional advantage

Join us for this lively presentation and discussion of the world of Social Networking.
